GCMHP conducted two awareness sessions for women focusing on psychological stress, coping strategies, and suicide prevention. The sessions were attended by 34 women in the first meeting and 23 in the second.
The sessions aimed to raise awareness about the concept of psychological stress and its physical and psychological impacts, as well as to introduce practical methods for managing tension and stress amidst difficult circumstances and events. They also provided a safe space for participants to express their feelings and engage in emotional release.
The sessions included discussions, interactive activities, and practical exercises designed to alleviate stress and foster resilience and mutual support, while emphasizing the importance of seeking help when needed.
At the conclusion of the sessions, participants were introduced to GCMHP’s services and provided with the telephone counseling number (1800222333) to access psychological support and counseling services.
