GCMHP received a delegation from Erada Association for Development and Social Rehabilitation. The visit aimed to strengthen coordination and cooperation among local institutions and to explore opportunities for developing partnerships in the fields of mental health and psychosocial support.
The delegation included Ms. Raghda Al-Shawa - Head of Women’s Unit, Ms. Shahd Al Shorafa - Media Officer, and Mr. Mohammed Al Kafarna - Public Relations Officer.
The meeting highlighted GCMHP’s experience and its role in providing specialized mental health and psychosocial support services. It also introduced the organization's mission, working methodology, and key programs and interventions designed to address the psychosocial needs of crisis-affected groups and to improve community access to specialized services.
Both parties discussed potential areas of cooperation, including the exchange of expertise and knowledge, and the mutual utilization of each organization's capabilities and experience. These efforts aim to foster synergy between initiatives in mental health and community rehabilitation.
The meeting underscored the importance of enhancing coordination among institutions working in this sector and developing effective partnerships that address the community's growing needs, improve the quality of psychosocial services, and expand access for the most vulnerable groups.
This visit is part of GCMHP’s ongoing efforts to expand its network of cooperation and partnerships with community-based organizations and to promote collaborative action in support of the psychosocial needs of the Palestinian community.
